@jorge: Thank you
@mralpha: If you want to use the generic shape with different liveries into your cars.wad, it is possible.
Into the archive, you have got a .z3d & tga folder with car1.z3d and car2.z3d
1- Open car1.z3d with Zmodeler
2- Press M on your keyboard to open Materials Editor
3- Rename assigned textures
Example: you have created a mclaren livery and your .tgas files are mclaren_1.tga, mclaren_2.tga, mclaren_3.tga, mclaren_4.tga, halo_mcl.tga
Into Materials Editor, rename assigned textures for each slot: rsct_1.tga to mclaren_1.tga; rsct_2.tga to mclaren_2.tga, etc...
4- Once the slots names where are assigned textures are renamed and that your new textures are loaded into each slot, just export your car1.z3d into .gp4 format as car_xxxx_car1_lod_0.gp4
Don't forget to do the same with Car2.
You can rename your lods with the name you want (car_
xxxx_car1_lod_0.gp4) The most important is that the assigned textures on the car have got the same names than your textures names for each livery (without the prefix
hi_) into the materials slots (example: if you have got a hi_mclaren_1.tex file for the game, the name into the material slot must be mclaren_1.tga)
I hope that it is quite clear and understandable.
