StrategyMaster by KlausFeldmann *Released*

English:
As you may know, in modern times all F1-teams use special and very complex computer simulations to calculate the best possible tactics for the races. To get something equal, I started working on these kind of tools as well. The result: StrategyMaster! It takes about 15 minutes in free practice to use it in an optimum way.

It's a simple worksheet. In fact, it cannot calculate all possible scenarios, but it works quite fine. I used it for a few races now, and am quite happy with it. At least I won't got beaten just due to bad tactics from now. The tool seems to confirm some player's impressions, that 1-stopper aren't on the best tactics very often, indeed ;)

In future I play to add more and more features to it, so that finally we'll get a semi-professional tool for TacticManagement ;).

EDIT:
Oh, by the way: You can find a tutorial, how to use it, within the worksheet ;).

Thanks for feedback, Jorge. Nice to hear about your experience in strategies ;).

This tool is especially made for 100%-races, although it can - of course - also be used for other race distances ;).
Hm, GP4 only allows to set 3-stopp-strategies pre-race in maximum. Of course it is possible to change the strategy to 4-stopps within the race right at the last of the three planned stops. You think I should implement the 4-stop-strategy to this tool as well?

I think 4 stops option is good idea.

Okay I'll try to increase the maximum amount of possible pitstops ;).

Dream: Is to have someone altered the amount of pitstops from 3 to 4 inside game. Possibly Gp4.exe ? + Gpaedia to show inside the menúes of the game.

I asked SDI to add to Gpxpatch like a drop mini panel to change strategies while racing. Ofcourse it does not mean changing the amount of fuel onboard already.
I think this feature if done would be awesome for everyone due to especially with new internal steering wheels that dont allow to easily read
the fuel and other things from the cockpit window.

I also think would be awesome another drop mini panel to select the tyre type you want for the next pitstop. This is particularly usefull when changing from dry to wet compounds...

That would be a great tool for sure :ok:. The the reading-problem is, why I still use the original steering wheel :D.

...or racing in soft tyre and then changing to the hard tyre since game doesnt allow both to be active at the same time (bug in Gp4).

I don't think this is a bug in GP4. I think that is just, what the rules were like back in 2001. You had two different tyre types and had to decide which of them you what to use for the rest of the weekend right before the qualification. You weren't allowed to use the other tyre type for the rest of the weekend. But, yes, it would be very nice if any programmer could rip this part of the source code to get GP4 more near to the current rules ;).

Damn! Last days I have been thinking in something like this but working in-race and with real-time data... I even made some screenshots on how it would be displayed.
I will try this worksheet and then I would like to discuss possible features with you if you are interested.

I have also 5 or 6 new projects in mind but I will try to improve them and read all forums to know if something similar already exists before posting.
