Graphics (textures) with updated tracks

Just wondering why some textures on the track seem really low res, even with all graphics options on. This is with josekast 2012 MOD by the way. Is there maybe a graphical option in one of the config files to get rid of this, or is it just how it is?

That just seems to be the main texture lacking in the game in general is the pavement. Always seems really bland looking and low res.
