Why would the SSD be treated any differently than any other drive? And why does only GP4 have problems with it?

Have you actually tried it on Windows 10 or just assuming that it will work? I assumed everything would work on Windows 7 but not everything did. Luckily GP4 did.

Has anyone tried GP4 with a prelease version of Windows 10? Does it work? I'm just wondering if upgrading to Windows 10 will break GP4 or if I should stick with my old trusty Windows 7.
