Hi, Tony
It's hard to know what is going on without describing what you did.
let's see, using the track (F1 Virtual & Gildoorf Rozencrantz, 2016 Up2Date by Jorge) contained in the TrackPack v.01 of this Mod, you can get:
2016 Best Q3 Time (real life) => 1: 35.402
Best GP4 LapTime (with my setup) => 1: 33.155
The difference to the real life event is about 2% which may be considered normal.
I suggest that should be used the track above, included in TrackPack v.01. A lot of times, the TrackPack is not updated by size reasons (+ -500MB, in first part). Download the 2016 physics package (about 30 kbytes. which is the most updated) and copy and paste the .tmd and .md3 files for shanghai track in the respective TrackPack folder.

Yes, this has explanation and this is quite simple ... it's because I'm behind a keyboard. there will always be a difference between 1.2 / 2s
if there were able to buy a G27 or something similar then yes would be interesting. My priorities for the moment are other now, such as sponsoring international dance contest in the USA and then personal finances are almost zero. after all it costs too much, and I know you understand.

Thank you very much for your answers guys. I think Jorge answered to my question with his laptime in shanghai. They go together
with qualifying times AI cars are driving.
I did all the above. Use the 2016 trackpack, phantaman physics(how wonderful that is with keyboard playing! Thank you for that), setups etc etc.
I get with keyboard playing following laptimes in qualifying:
Shanghai 1:33:50; Monaco 1:13:90; Spa 1:45; Suzuka 1:30
But AI cars are lapping circa 2-3 faster times.
No problem. I will tame AI cars down a bit manually.

as above informed, much of the time the TrackPack (and their magicdata is not updated as it should by size reason) and so I suggest that you download the 2016 package of physics and copy and paste the necessary files (more updated, to the corresponding folders). it´s only 30 kbytes
I remember that this MOD is updated (performances) until the grand prix of monaco. it will receive small updates step by step ... please disregard the other gp's after this grand prix since have not been updated, and not serve as a reference as they are 2015.
I hope that by then, it is possible for me also add the performances of Gitanes whose pace update is a little slower than mine.

I have had a weird problem since I have formatted my laptop . After the CSM loads the game properly ( any installed MOD ) , I press any key and the game freezes but it doesn't crash , coming back to the desktop .
Please any help is most welcome .

The question is (about) the grand prix 4 installation and other tools, not for the MoD that deals with this topic.
Reinstall... noting that if the system is 64-bits should be set up a folder (in the root of c: \) for this purpose.
The grand prix 4 and other tools for editing (zaz tools, gp4tweaker, etc.) MUST be installed there

Obrigado Celso pela tua resposta . Eu tenho instalado o windows 7 e não o windows 10 . Nunca tive esse problema antes , percebi no teu MOD e achei que era causado por alguma particularidade dele . Mas testei todos os MODs instalados e está acontecendo em todos .
O jogo carrega e funciona bem mas se tento trocar de camera , por exemplo , trava .

Maybe this is a silly question but I didn't find an answer in the FAQs. I use a CSM MOD and want to reduce the time of the pitstop of all the teams but have been unable to . I have already modified the values of the pitstop.ini in the tweaker's folder without sucess . Any help is most welcome .
